The new campers are available with either a 168 hp diesel or a 230 hp petrol plug-in hybrid powertrain
Ford offers the campers with a 168 hp EcoBlue diesel and a 2.5-liter PHEV . The Active model looks more rugged and includes 17-inch machined alloy wheels. Both models include heated swivel front seats as standard. Ford has grown the range of Transit Custom Nugget campers that it sells in Europe thanks to the launch of a new rugged variant and a long-wheelbase version. The new models will be displayed at the Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf, Germany, from August 30 to September 8.
Water-resistant and durable fabric adorns the seats and there’s a large touchscreen that can be used to monitor and control all important vehicle functions, like the lights, heating, and water levels. Safety features also come in abundance. These include a Driver Assistance Pack with Pre-Collision Assist, Reverse Brake Assist, Blind Spot Information System, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
