Ford pops into Ottawa as Ontario election campaign hits home stretch ONpoli OntarioVotes
Speaking to reporters Monday morning on the roof of the Ottawa Citizen building overlooking the stretch of Hwy. 417 his party is promising to expand, Doug Ford’s timing prompted questions about why he hasn’t been seen much in the National Capital Region this year.
In his role as Premier, Ford said he maintained close contact with local officials on a daily basis, soliciting and offering help from both within and outside of Ontario to clean up from the storm and work on restoring service to those still without power.
