Ford is expanding access to its free Mustang driving school at Charlotte Motor Speedway to include anyone who purchases a new 2024-model-year-or-later Mustang. The program was previously only included with the purchase of the sportier Mustang Dark Horse variant, the current king of the Mustang performance pile.
The program is run by the Ford Performance Racing School, which in addition to race instruction runs a similar program in Tooele, Utah, for owners of Ford F-150 Raptor and Ranger Raptor off-road trucks, the Bronco "Off-Roadeos" in multiple locations for Bronco and Bronco Sport SUV owners, as well as a program for owners of the Edge ST and Explorer ST on-road performance SUVs.
On top of the expanded driving school, Ford is greatly increasing its footprint at Charlotte Motor Speedway with the new Mustang Experience Center. Opening next year, it will include an aftermarket parts shop, merch shop, a Ford Heritage Gallery with exhibits on the history of the Mustang, and a conference center for corporate events and weddings, should you be that obsessed with Mustangs.
