Foo Fighters’ hit “Everlong” first climbed the Billboard charts in 1997, but nearly a quarter-century later — thanks to a viral performance with 11-year-old drummer Nandi Bushell …
The band invited Bushell on stage for an electrifying performance of “Everlong” to close out their Los Angeles gig on Aug. 26 at The Forum, and since then, U.S. sales for the song are up 4 percent, catapulting it to No. 19 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, No. 2 on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart and No. 17 on Hot Alternative Songs chart.
In 1997, “Everlong” reached No. 3 on the Billboard’s U.S. Alternative Airplay charts and No. 4 on the U.S. Mainstream Rock charts. Selling over 2 million units, the song is also certified double platinum in the U.S.
