Doors will be open to the public at 10:30 a.m. A book of condolences will also be available for signing.
Starting at 9:15 a.m., OPP and other police service members will march from the Tanger Outlets property on Campeau Drive south along Huntmar Drive to reach the Canadian Tire Centre. In addition, service members are expected to be positioned along Huntmar Drive, Palladium Drive, Frank Finnigan Way and Cyclone Taylor Boulevard as the funeral cortege passes.
Members of the public will be permitted to stand along Palladium Drive in Canadian Tire Centre Lots 4 and 5 to observe the procession. This will be pedestrian-only access, a news release emphasized.Starting at 6 a.m. and during the funeral procession, sections of Huntmar Drive and Palladium Drive will be closed. The OPP release said updates would be available on the @Ottawa_Traffic Twitter account and the City of Ottawa’s interactive traffic map at ottawa.
