Despite flood mitigation efforts by Logan City and its residents, the Blacksmith Fork River is flooding, causing major problems for one nearby trailer park community.
LOGAN, Utah — When asked how it was going, as his trailer is surrounded by water, Justin Mclean laughed and said:"How's it going? It's going."
Mclean and his neighbors have been trudging through water and sandbagging for hours over the last couple days, but Kat Zaloshinsky says it wasn't enough. The flooding has now caused Mclean, Zaloshinsky, Lucia Rodriguez and the rest of the park's residents to be without power, water and sewer. "There's been a couple of areas where there is no way to mitigate or overt water, and one of those was the trailer park," he said.
