BROSSARD, Que. — A five-year-old boy from a Montreal suburb who was the subject of an Amber Alert on Tuesday was found safe in Ontario later that day, Quebec provincial police said.

Police said the boy had been taken about 6 p.m. Monday evening. The all clear was given by police just after 10 a.m. the next day. This report by The Canadian Press was first published Aug. 27, 2024.
