Air Canada and WestJet CEOs will discuss their decisions to ground the Boeing 737 Max jets and Statistics Canada will release its Labour Force Survey for April on Friday which reveals employment dropped by 7,200 net jobs.

The Calgary-based airline has announced that flights between Halifax and Paris have been suspended from June 3 through Aug. 2 due to the continued grounding of Boeing 737 Max aircraft.Quebecor holds its annual general meeting on Thursday.
