Five people on British cruise ship test positive for coronavirus
A British cruise ship is in limbo Saturday off the coast of the Bahamas, with one passenger and four crew members who have tested positive for the coronavirus.
Two British government officials were sent to Freeport to assist Bahamian authorities with the resupply operation. The five people tested positive for the coronavirus on Wednesday while the ship was docked in Curacao. For now, the Braemar is effectively quarantined at sea. The ship has space for 929 passengers and 371 crew members. USA TODAY reached out to Fred Olsen Saturday but didn't immediately receive a response.
