Thunder Bay police seized a large amount of drugs and a loaded handgun during a raid on a south-side residence.
Thunder Bay police arrested five people after finding drugs and a loaded handgun during a search of a house on the south side of the city. A news release from Thunder Bay Police said that on Thursday, January 3rd, officers executed a warrant at a residence on Donald Street. During the search, they allegedly seized drugs including cocaine, crack cocaine, and fentanyl, with an estimated street value of $120,000 or more.
Police also found a firearm, more than $13,000 in cash, and drug trafficking paraphernalia. A 39-year-old woman from Thunder Bay, a 19-year-old man from Scarborough, a 21-year-old man from Scarborough, a 17-year-old from Bradford, and a 15-year-old from Toronto face various charges.
