Anchorage first responders are fighting a fire in a building of a condominium complex near Taku Lake. The Anchorage Fire Department asks that people avoid the area.

Anchorage Fire Department Assistant Chief Alex Boyd said units responded to a building in the Foxwood Condominium complex at 7:40 p.m. Friday. The complex is on Foxridge Way, off of C Street.

Additional details such as where the fire began and how many units are involved were not immediately available. Boyd said that no injuries had been reported so far.
