Things get even more dramatic when Blackbeard, played by Waititi, shows up at the end of the trailer, deriding Stede as a"fancyman" captaining a"brigade of imbeciles".HBO Max has also released a first-look image of Waititi as Blackbeard, looking suitably menacing.
