Atlantic Bioheat Inc. shared this photo of its building on social media Jan. 14. Three trucks and various tools and equipment were destroyed in the fire. - Contributed The building contained three large trucks which were filled with diesel ready for the week ahead. One truck also contained woodchips.There were no physical injuries. However, strong northwest winds blew heavy smoke from the burning fuel, tires and other materials, making it necessary to temporarily evacuate three nearby homes.
Atlantic Bioheat Inc. installs and maintains commercial boilers that use woodchips as fuel, said the company’s Facebook page. The company heats various commercial and government buildings, said Arsenault, adding many of the tools and parts lost in the blaze are specialized and many come from Europe.
