Four years ago, as the global COVID-19 pandemic entered its third week, workers across Canada began to settle in to the reality of remote work. But some Parliamentarians and precinct employees were already being called back to the Hill after the House of Commons was recalled on March 24, 2020, to empower the Health and Finance committees to meet by teleconference to hear from the government on its response to the pandemic.
