Fines for excessive speeding on highways are increasing in Newfoundland and Labrador. - ContributedST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Newfoundland and Labrador drivers will face increased fines for traffic offences under the Highway Traffic Act beginning April 3.
In addition, a $100 increase will apply to those who race vehicles or bicycles on highways or engage in stunts while driving.
