JOHN'S, N.L. — The final phase of the Water Street construction project is starting on Monday, March 27, so people who use the intersections with Waldegrave Street and Prescott Street/Job’s Cove may have to look for an alternative route for the next few weeks.
Coun. Ophelia Ravencroft, who represents the area on council, said the hope is this phase won’t have as much of an impact as some of the previous phases, since the intersections will be done sequentially, and they plan to have one done before starting the second. “All the businesses would love your business during these renovations and it’s only a short-term thing, so you don’t have to worry about these conditions for long,” she said.
