FF16 DLC could include an Ultima Mode for Eikons.
Fans of Final Fantasy 16 have speculated what DLC might add to the game, and the best possible addition to Clive’s arsenal could add a new dimension to the game’s combat, though it might make him overpowered. There are eight Eikons in FF16, and through the course of the story Clive gains the ability to tap into each of their powers. Clive is limited to equipping only three Eikon styles at a time, but DLC could offer a way for Clive to use the power of every Eikon at once.
While FF16’s combat makes Devil May Cry comparisons unavoidable, being able to use every resource available in a single battle would put Clive more on par with the ludicrous combo potential of Capcom’s Dante. Since Final Fantasy 16 offers unlimited options to respec Clive’s AP, players are already encouraged to experiment with each new Eikon, but given the limit of three equipped, many simply select their favorites and stick with those choices.
