Crowds gathered at the main stage, through a mix of sunshine, strong winds and rain, to watch local entertainers, fashion shows and international celebrities.During the Saturday evening, when local band, JAM NUTS, and Filipino singer, songwriter and actor Ariel Rivera took the stage, hundreds of people formed a sea of star struck fans enjoying an evening of music.
CBC was on hand to talk to people about their favourite experiences about living in Lethbridge with many talking about the growth of the local Filipino community and the events where they can connect. This joy of community showcased the strength of the Lethbridge Filipino Heritage Festival in uniting Filipinos across southern Alberta.
