OLIVER PAIPOONGE – Ethan Lang scored twice and Eric Vanska earned a 16-save shutout as the Kam River Fighting Walleye blanked the visiting Fort Frances Lakers 4-0 on Friday night.
Jack Cook and Max Leduc also had tallies for the home side, playing in front of 720 fans at the Norwest Arena.The first-place Fighting Walleye improved to 28-7-1 and will take on the last-place Lakers again on Saturday night.
