MOTHER’S DAY FORECAST: Some clouds are expected in SoCal Thursday morning but warm weather will arrive for Mother’s Day weekend.
Los Angeles and Orange counties will see a few clouds in the morning, with a high of 71 degrees by the afternoon. Temperatures will warm up to the 76 on Friday and Mother's Day will be pleasant with plenty of sunshine.
The valley and the Inland Empire will see much warmer temperatures through the weekend. Thursday will be partly cloudy in the morning with a high of 74 degrees.Beaches will be cloudy Thursday with a high of 64 and 3-6 foot surf. Mountain communities will also be sunny and mild on Thursday with a high of 64 by the afternoon. By Sunday, however, the area could see some scattered showers.
Desert communities will be warm, sunny and breezy on Thursday with a high of 81, rising to the 90s by the weekend.
