The City of Greater Sudbury is looking at options for replacing or rehabilitating the College Street underpass and extending Ste. Anne Road to Frood Road to alleviate traffic pressures

The City of Greater Sudbury is seeking the public’s feedback on what they should do with a replacement or rehabilitation of the College Street Underpass, and extending Ste. Anne Road.

People can submit their feedback on the city’s OverToYou page, at overtoyou.greatersudbury.ca. Feedback is requested by July 5. “Given the age and condition of the structure, the low vertical profile and the lack of active transportation facilities, the structure needs to be replaced, or at a minimum rehabilitated,” the city noted in a media release issued June 23.

“The concurrent completion of both projects will assist in ensuring the vertical and horizontal alignments of the new Ste. Anne Road extension and the College Street underpass are compatible,” according to the city.
