BREAKING: Feds announce full public inquiry into Nova Scotia mass shooting, bowing to pressure
The move comes after growing protests over the initial move to convene a smaller-scale panel to look over the murders and events surrounding them.
The panel’s terms of reference didn’t contain provisions to compel witnesses to speak under oath, and they had said that information collected in the preparation of the report would “be kept confidential.”
