Fear the Walking Dead needs something massive to shake some life back into it.
This is…a far cry from the series back when it was at its core, Madison, Nick, Alicia, Travis and Chris. Then no more Chris. Then more Travis. But then it went too far with no more Nick and Madison, and Alicia is now just lumped into the rest of this ensemble when she should be leading the show .massive
, and I think it’s grown too unwieldy for what was supposed to be a series focused on one family specifically. Now that family is dead, but I still wish the show was focused more on a core group. Season 4 dumped all these new characters into the mix, and while I don’t dislike some of them , the rest constantly feel like they don’t have a real purpose.
I’m not going to spell out whose head I would put on the proverbial pikes in an effort to shake things up, as if you’ve seen the show, you probably have your own opinions. The only character at this point who needs to survive is Alicia, lest the show crumble completely, but I think there is the potential for a large event that cleaves through a big chunk of the cast. But that seems somewhat unlikely given that the big bad of this season seems to be a…nuclear power plant? Sure, okay.
