Father arrested after 4-month-old boy killed in Fort Worth.
Fort Worth police have arrested a man in connection with the death of his 4-month-old son last week.
Alfred Jerome Williams, 21, was taken into custody in the days after police responded to a call about an unresponsive infant the night of Feb. 16, police said.at a southwest Fort Worth apartment and died at Cook Children’s Medical Center, according to the medical examiner’s office. His death was ruled a homicide.Alfred Williams was booked into the Tarrant County jail Saturday on a charge of injury to a child.
Court records show Williams was given two years of deferred-adjudication probation about a week before the boy’s death, Feb. 10, in connection with the assault of a pregnant person in March.
