Last Updated: Oct. 21, 2023 4:02PMA man suspected of fatally stabbing another man in Port Alberni on Friday is still at large, RCMP said Saturday.
The Port Alberni RCMP were called to an apartment building in the 5100-block of Argyle Street on Friday afternoon for a report of a stabbing.“The male victim was transported to hospital and, despite the efforts of bystanders and emergency first responders, the male succumbed to his injuries,” said RCMP in a release Saturday.
Mounties say that after speaking with several witnesses, they identified a male suspect in the attack.
