A man was fatally shot on Summit Avenue in Jersey City Sunday night, the second homicide in the city in less than a week.
Police said in radio transmissions the victim was shot in the back and was taken to the Jersey City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Two shell casings were recovered.
