The pursuit happened on Thursday, after a Pemberton Township Police officer attempted to stop the motorcycle as part of a criminal investigation, officials said. The motorcycle struck a vehicle while being chased by police on Route 687 W. near Davis Street in Pemberton, authorities said. The crash occurred shortly after 5:15 p.m., officials said.
