All southbound lanes of the interstate are currently closed between I-74 and South Arlington Avenue while responders work the scene. INDOT says to avoid the area for approximately the next hour and a half.
The crash happened about 5:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the highway, closing the roadway between Interstate 74 and South Arlington Arlington Avenue, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.Additional details were not immediately available.
