On Thursday evening, a car accident in north Phoenix left one person dead while two others were transported to the hospital.

On Thursday afternoon, a car accident in Glendale left one person dead while two others were transported to the hospital.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a fatal crash involving four vehicles happened on State Route 101 near the 67th Avenue exit around 3:30 p.m. The vehicles included a white service/utility truck, a semi-truck, and two other cars. DPS says one person had to be extricated from the car and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Two others were rushed to the hospital. No names of the people involved have been released.
