Hopefully, you streamed Wedgewood on Tuesday and held onto him for tonight’s matchup vs. the Coyotes. Wedgewood stopped 30 of 32 shots in the 5-2 win over the Kings and has now allowed nine goals on 107 shots in his three starts this season. The Coyotes are dead last in the NHL in All Situations xGF/60 , so the matchup doesn’t get any better than this.
Martin has only appeared in two games this season, allowing just five goals on 68 shots . In 11 career NHL appearances, Martin has posted a .924 SV% and will likely earn more starts moving forward if Thatcher Demko continues to struggle. The Canucks are in the middle of the pack defensively, so they’re doing a decent job protecting their netminders and face a Ducks team that has the second-lowest xGF/60 .
