The homicide of Sabrina Clark, 29, on Feb. 18, 2021 remains unsolved.

“I know my daughter wouldn’t have gone down without a fight,” she said.

Sabrina was good at carpentry, Kristen said. She had made herself a tool box, even though she didn’t yet own tools to fill it. Sabrina’s daughter, a Grade 2 student, talks about her mother a lot and made her a valentine card, Kristen said. Her son is too young to understand, she said. Myrna LaPlante, an advocate for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, attended the gathering in support of Kristen, and told those gathered that there have been crimes committed against Indigenous women and that people have to do whatever they can to end this violence.
