A family-friendly fundraising walk aims to support those experiencing hardship, homelessness, and hunger. The event, hosted by Hope House, a local charity, has expanded this year due to its popularity. Two walks, a 2-kilometer and a 5-kilometer route, will start at different locations and converge at Hope House, where walkers will be treated to refreshments and gratitude. Last year's event raised a record $205,000, surpassing its $180,000 goal. This year's target is $210,000.

Yo added that the organization is excited to continue to partner with Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute as well as John F. Ross Collegiate Vocational Institute.He said the first walk is two-kilometers and will start at 2 p.m.
