“I guess I should let you know that I have had two strokes over the last couple of weeks and have been in hospital since,”on Friday. “Can’t walk or talk but am getting better very slowly! Hope to get home and back on the podcast as quick as possible!” The 71-year-old native of Columbus, Ohio, rose to prominence with the growing popularity of sports-talk radio through the 1990s and was a powerhouse voice on the drive-time show Prime Time Sports on Sportsnet The Fan 590.
