The free glittering light show will be projected onto the San Fernando Cathedral in downtown San Antonio every Tuesday through Sunday.

San Antonio | The Saga, a free glittering light show, will be projected onto the San Fernando Cathedral in downtown San Antonio every Tuesday through Sunday at 9 p.m. and again at 9:30 p.m.

Light shows last 24 minutes and depict the historical discovery, settlement and development of San Antonio, the state of Texas and the U.S. The video art projection was designed by French painter Xavier de Richemont. It has been wowing visitors since it debuted in June 2014. “The Saga projection covers 7,000 square feet of light, color and visual narration projected onto the majestic façade of San Fernando Cathedral- the oldest cathedral in the United States,” according to the

The Saga will be canceled on April 6 - 8 and again on April 25 - 30 due to events at San Fernando Cathedral.
