St. Ignatius rushed for three touchdowns on their way to a 27-0 triumph over St. Patrick.
THUNDER BAY – The St. Ignatius Falcons took full advantage of playing in front of their home fans on Friday afternoon.
Falcons head coach Jason Moore was happy with how the team played, especially as they implemented some new changes to their playbook. Roberto Cappelli had a pair of short-yardage plunges into the endzone and Daniel Voca kicked two field goals to complete the scoring.They played to a 14-14 tie with the Falcons in last year’s season opener before dropping their next five regular season contests and losing a 17-10 semifinal matchup with the Hammarskjold Vikings.
