Derrelle Travis cut off his ankle monitor and left his home overnight, hours before he was to be sentenced on charges of felonious assault and five counts of aggravated robbery.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A Cleveland boy who pleaded guilty last month to shooting a woman during a carjacking spree when he was 14 is wanted after he did not show up for his Monday sentencing.
Travis’ mother, Florence Daniels, said after the hearing that the family had a group of people who were trying to find her son. “The state would submit that this was completely foreseeable,” Hasan told Collier-Williams during Monday’s hearing.“It’s my hope that nobody else is hurt, including the defendant,” O’Malley said.
