The Thunder Bay District Health Unit and Southbridge Care Homes announced Wednesday that the outbreak declared previously in the Cheshire and Renaissance units at the Southbridge Roseview long-term care facility on Shuniah Street is now considered facility-wide.
According to information published by Southbridge, seven residents in five different units of the 157-bed nursing home have tested positive for COVID-19.Elsewhere in Thunder Bay, the TBDHU and St. Joseph's Care Group announced that a COVID outbreak previously declared in Hogarth Riverview Manor's 7 South unit has now been expanded to include 7 North .
The health unit reported that an outbreak of the virus at the Walford retirement residence on Pine Street is now over.
