Manchester City will face Arsenal at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, with kick-off scheduled for 11 a.m. ET/ 8 a.m. PT on Sportsnet ONE and SN NOW.
City’s midfield maestro Kevin De Bruyne opened the scoring in the seventh minute, while John Stones’ header doubled the Blues’ lead on the verge of half-time. The upcoming campaign holds great promise for the North Londoners. Despite last season’s setbacks — and finding itself in a period of transition — Arsenal aims to reclaim its place at the top of the English league. Joining Rice is attacking midfielder Havertz, who was acquired for £65 million. The German is intelligent, versatile and will add creativity to Arteta’s lineup. Lastly, 22-year-old Timber, bought for £38.5 million, will bring much-needed strength and hunger to Arsenal’s backline.
