The founding partner of Mobius Capital Partners said markets 'hate' uncertainty, and how much markets fall would depend on how long the election dispute lasts.

The markets will not like a disputed U.S. election outcome, said Mark Mobius, a veteran investor and founding partner of Mobius Capital Partners.

Mobius said a Trump win is more "favorable" to markets because the president has promised further tax cuts, while Democrats want to raise taxes on businesses and rich people. "That's a real issue and a real problem," Mobius, founding partner of Mobius Capital Partners, told CNBC'sin response to a question on the implications of a disputed election, in which the eventual winner is not finalized until weeks or months after the Nov. 3 vote.
