A host of four-star prospects are still to finalize their decision, while a five-star talent remains unsigned— and in the midst of all that Georgia and Alabama battle it out to be the No. 1 recruiting school.National Signing Day falls on Wednesday, February 5 this year. Players who have yet to commit will announce their futures throughout the day, beginning from approximately 9 a.m. ET., Georgia holds the upper hand for the time being.
Alabama, however, could top the list if it manages to land four-star defensive lineman McKinnley Jackson. The Bulldogs released him with no restriction but Evans is expected to skip national signing day altogether as he can't sign a second letter of intent. The dual-threat quarterback guided Fort Bend Marshall High School, Texas, to a 14-2 season last year, reaching the state title game.
