Following the success of the New 52, DC Animation began a new continuity of animated movies based mostly on stories that had been published after 2011.
15 Teen Titans: The Judas Contract The Teen Titans series had already made a version of the Judas Contract storyline, and it arguably worked much better than the Teen Titans: The Judas Contract movie. The Teen Titans show also dealt with the storyline involving Deathstroke and Terra better than the comics themselves, turning a disgraced plot into a story about Terra's place in the Titans.
12 Batman: Bad Blood Batman: Bad Blood may not have been as good as some of the other DCAMU Batman movies, but it is a fun story centered on the Bat Family. The DCAMU focused on members of the Bat Family who had yet to appear in animated movies or TV shows, such as Damian Wayne, Batwoman, and Batwing. Skipping the likes of Jason Todd and Tim Drake in the DCAMU may have been disappointing, but it allowed movies such as Batman: Bad Blood to explore other Batman legacy characters.
9 Reign of the Supermen DC had once adapted The Death of Superman comics in Superman: Doomsday , a movie that combined months of Superman comic issues into a 90-minute story. As such, the DCAMU decided to revisit this story in a more faithful adaptation. For that to work, The Death of Superman would have to have a sequel. Reign of the Supermen deals with the aftermath of Superman’s death at the hands of Doomsday and introduces four Superman replacements.
6 Son of Batman Almost eight years after his introduction in DC Comics, Damian Wayne finally made his screen debut with Son of Batman. Combining the established Damian Wayne lore with a few original concepts, Son of Batman also brought Deathstroke into the DCAMU. Damian, who becomes Robin after connecting with his father Bruce Wayne, would become one of the most important characters in the DCAMU.
