A lot of the main cast is at risk during Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, but it’s possible to save most of them if you play your cards right.
Cyberpunk 2077 : Phantom Liberty can end in tragedy for many of its characters, but some of them can still be saved. Owing to Phantom Liberty's twist-laden spy thriller story , its characters are constantly putting themselves at risk based on what they know, what they want to know, and what they don't want others to know. Much of the core cast might not make it out of the DLC, and the player's decisions have a direct impact on who lives and who dies.
5 Alex Alena Xenakis, better known as Alex, is a former member of Reed's FIA team, now deep undercover as a bartender. Over the course of the DLC, she comes to work with Songbird and V in their effort to take down Dogtown ruler Kurt Hansen. Eventually, she becomes an integral part of that operation, with an important role in one of the final quests, "Firestarter.
In order to save Jago, V can either side with him outright, or try and get the two to work together. To keep Jago alive, V has to decline to meet with Bennett before Hansen's wake. Then, at the wake, they can either threaten Bennett themselves or appeal to the rival leaders' sense of duty to Dogtown. Jago doesn't have the stomach to take out Bennett himself, so V will have to finish the job. Either way, though, Jago walks out alive.
In order to save Reed, V needs to side with him one way or another. There are two opportunities to do this: the first is by activating the Icebreaker at the stadium. If V chooses this option, Songbird and Reed can still both make it out alive, but Alex will die. V can also decide to let Songbird go free at first, then turn her into Reed at the spaceport during "The Killing Moon." If they decide to put Songbird on the lunar shuttle instead, they'll have to kill Reed.
