Adam Sandler has starred in numerous comedy movies, but very few have gotten sequels even though they deserve them. Although his films haven't always been critically well-received, Sandler's filmography has been undeniably influential, with the actor having some of the most popular and remembered comedies of the '90s, 2000s, and 2010s. Sandler has been part of a variety of franchises, and some certainly deserve a modern sequel.
5 Pixels Pixels is another of Adam Sandler's more ambitious projects, with the action comedy being a step above Sandler's typical comedies in production value. Pixels tells the story of an elite team of gamers tasked with taking down an alien invasion that has taken a unique form: arcade games. Adam Sandler's Pixels brought many video game characters into live-action for the first time, with the movie featuring heavy hitters like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and the Tetris series.
3 The Waterboy The Waterboy is one of Adam Sandler's most iconic movies, with the film following water boy Bobby Boucher Jr. as he is given a chance to play linebacker on a college football team. The ending of The Waterboy sets up the perfect sequel idea, with Bobby's father suggesting that he join the NFL.
