This week\u0027s events around Metro Vancouver include Kokoro Dance on Wreck Beach and Sweat with Granville.

For the annual event’s at-home version, the Mission Folk Music Festival is presenting three main stage concert evening showcases. More than 15 artists and groups are slated to perform in styles ranging from chamber folk, blues and Celtic, a West African kora/flamenco fusion, and more. Performers include Scottish folk trio Talisk, indie-folk duo Taylor Ashton and Rachael Price , and Dene singer-songwriter Leela Gilday.
