A former FBI crypto analyst now blockchain investigator has weighed in on Ethereum's susceptibility to government intervention following the Merge.

Ethereum’s upgrade to proof-of-stake may make it more vulnerable to government intervention and censorship, according to the lead investigator of Merkle Science.
