ERT, K-9 Unit aid in arrest of suspect north of Madoc
At least one suspect has been taken into custody in the area of Highway 62 just north of Highway 7 this morning. According to Twitter reports from Quinte Dispatch, OPP units set up containment in the area of Hwy 62 North at Riggs Rd/Hazzards Rd in search of a driver who fled from Belleville and OPP units overnight.
The vehicle was allegedly involved in a collision with a Belleville police cruiser early today before fleeing.A male was apprehended in the area around 7 a.m.
