Spider-Man should be getting the black suit soon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and a new epic Avengers fan art imagines Tom Holland's Peter Parker having trouble with the symbiote. Holland's latest adventure as the wall-crawler was in the generational event movie that was 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home. The movie united Holland's title hero with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's versions of Spider-Man.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Artist Subi Özil shared on Instagram a rendition of the MCU Spider-Man with the iconic black suit. The MCU's Spider-Man 4 villain might be Venom or not, but it is clear by the post-credits scene in Spider-Man: No Way Home that Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has plans for Holland's Spider-Man to come into contact with the symbiote in the near future, and there are a few movies where that could happen.
Spider-Man: No Way Home's ending left Peter Parker truly alone, with Doctor Strange casting a spell that made everyone forget who Peter was. After the last movie's groundbreaking multiverse plot, the MCU Spider-Man 4 can bring a more intimate story. A down-on-his-luck Peter would be the perfect target for the symbiote, with the character feeling reinvigorated by the power surge the black suit would give him.
The fan art presents Spider-Man donning the symbiote suit in outer space, something that could very well happen in either of the two upcoming Avengers movies. However, 2026's Avengers: Secret Wars seems like the perfect place for the highly anticipated moment to happen. The reason for that is the comic book debut of the symbiote suit was in the pages of the first "Secret Wars" event in Marvel Comics.
