Environment Canada has issued a winter storm watch for Durham, the GTA and much of southern Ontario.
They’re calling for snow and ice pellets and a risk of freezing rain arriving late Wednesday and into Thursday. The weather agency says a Colorado low is expected to bring a wintry mix of snow and ice pellets that may fall heavily at times, leading to hazardous winter travel conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult due to reduced visibility and some highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
There is still some uncertainty for the exact location, timing, and accumulations of snow and ice pellets. If you have found a spelling error, please, notify us by selecting that text and pressing
