THUNDER BAY — The success of the 23rd annual Empty Bowls Caring Hearts charity event was on full display during a cheque presentation ceremony on Friday.
“We are truly appreciative of it, it adds value to everything that that we do,” he said. “The dollars that we receive from the community, and we are truly grateful.” The five participating organizations included Willow Springs Creative Centre, the Regional Food Distribution Association, Roots Community Food Centre, Our Kids Count and Shelter House Thunder Bay.
