Emmanuel Macron may look like the nemesis of Brexiteers, but really he's their best friend
Patricia are you here to bash me again for having something against UK remaining? I remember vividly that my post stating the same exact facts and concluding that a second referendum will fail even worse – due to the fact that EU changed in these two years while UK was away – sort of tripped you.The EU will work better and any EU reform will be easier without the UK. The EU/UK relationship will be that of a large power with a vassal state so the EU will be very happy with that.
Rees-Moggs false statement that we are a vassal state in the EU will literally become true under the WA. The “temporary” backstop is permanent as there is no technology for the foreseeable future to give a seamless border in NI. As we know it was the biggest defeat in political history! If within the course of two months it gets voted though it would be the most extraordinary thing.
How could we become a Country taking decisions from an outside body without representation? How could our MPs vote for something like that?Little Fauntleroy To be fair Yellow Submarine it was Spain mouthing off too, and a little bit Ireland, but you’re right. Macron clearly demonstrated that the EU leaders are not to be trusted and everything needs to be legally binding.
